On the carpet before the big names roll up in their limos.
Rain the night before threatened to put a damper on the red carpet outside the Kodak Theatre. Plastic tents were put up to protect the seating for the press, but my seat looked pretty wet Saturday night!
This is the backstage press room at the Kodak Theatre which will be filled to capacity the night of the show.
Fortunately, the sun came out and I got my spot on the carpet, ready for the big parade.
This year's dress I made from bronze irridescent satin.
I got the trim at Mood Fabrics in New York.
It took the place of more jewelry for me this year.

Of course, I get moved to the other side once the big celebrities start coming!
Virginia Madsen got there early and did hit a rainstorm. She was checking to see if it was safe to walk out of the tented part of the carpet without getting wet. She ended up getting escorted under an umbrella.

Morgan Freeman. You may notice he is wearing one black glove. He hurt his hand in a car accident in 2008 and still doesn't have full use of it. Apparently, he wears to glove to help with swelling.
