Southern California Man Pleads Guilty to Online Sextortion

A Southern California man is heading to prison after pleading guilty in a online sextortion case that targeted women and girls including Miss Teen USA.

The man threatened to post images of her online if she didn't provide him with more naked images, videos, or chat on Skype with him.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Vib Mittal says Jared James Abrahams gained access to email accounts and computers of about a dozen victims. A federal court judge in Orange County sentenced Abrahams to 18 months behind bars.
