Chairman Doung Verdoon says that whether you're for the high-speed rail or against it, the agency needs to be held accountable, and Verdoon says that was why the Board of Supervisors joined the lawsuit against the High Speed Rail Authority.
"There was a lot of inconsistencies with what they were supposed to do and what they were doing," Verdoon said.
One of those things, says Verdoon, was that all of the 28-miles of the project that went through Kings County did not use existing transportation corridors, and that is just one of the violations of Prop 1A committed by the agency.
KFBK is still awaiting reaction from the High Speed Rail Authority.
