Measles Cases Spike in California

There are now 49 confirmed measles cases in California.

At this time last year, only four measles cases had been reported statewide.

Health officials say the big jump in cases serves as a reminder to get fully vaccinated.

Among the cases, 21 are in Orange County, 10 in Los Angeles County, five in Riverside County and there are four cases each in San Diego and Contra Costa counties.
